  • The recognition of location travel allowance is an annual amount paid per semester.
  • Teachers in a TR4-TR6 school receive an annual payment in the fourth and fifth year while teachers in a TR7 school receive payments in their third, fourth and fifth year in their remote community. This Recognition of Service payment is paid in Semester 2.
  • The locality allowance is displayed in annual amounts, however is paid fortnightly. Locality allowances are payable to officers and employees specified in Directive 16/18 who are appointed to work at named communities.
  • An identified location payment is paid annually for up to five years to teachers appointed to schools in Identified Indigenous communities.
