The 2024 Regional, Rural and Remote Graduate Teacher Scholarship will provide up to 100 final year primary and secondary preservice teachers who graduate from their
initial teacher education program in 2023 a one-off scholarship payment of $15,000 (before tax) and an offer of permanent employment.
Recipients will commence teaching in a Queensland state school from Term 1 2024 for up to 3 years in 1 of the following priority locations:

The online application will include completing an online questionnaire, i.e., providing responses to supporting statements (question 25–30 – minimum word counts apply), and uploading documentation provided in the
scholarship checklist (PDF, 146KB) (including academic transcripts, resume, ID and
all final, named, signed and dated placement reports).
