While we acknowledge that teaching, like any job, has its own set of unique challenges, it is a rewarding career pathway where you can create a lasting impact. In this article, we talk to 4 ​people who share memorable moments from their teaching career so far.

Realising student potential

Supporting students to engage in education is essential for them to thrive. Teachers have the privilege of not only seeing the potential in their students, but also working with them to give them the support they need and the confidence to reach that potential. They do this by providing personalised learning and support that draws upon students’ strengths and overcomes any barriers that exist.

Stanthorpe State High School Deputy Principal, Chandelle reflects on one of the best days of her teaching career, where the culmination of hard work a​nd perseverance (both hers and her student’s) paid off. Spoiler alert: The student even surprised themselves!

Preparing students for the future
