Apply to teach in Queensland state schools
The first step towards submitting your application is to check our
eligibility requirements and make sure you’re eligible to teach with us. Following this,
apply for employment through our online portal. This provides you with the opportunity to indicate your location, employment and teaching preferences so you can be considered for vacancies as they are identified by our schools.
You can apply for permanent, temporary and casual teacher employment with us at any time throughout the year.
Salary and benefits
In addition to your
starting salary, you may be eligible for relocation assistance as well as financial benefits if moving to a rural, remote or regional community. Accommodation support is also provided in some locations.
