The Teach Rural Career Fair is hosted in the Plaza Terrace Room at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Brisbane.
The closest entrance to the Plaza Terrace Room is via the venue’s main foyer on the corner of Merivale and Glenelg Streets.

Parking
The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre has its own undercover carpark. Please note that parking fees apply.
Car park 1 is the best option to access the Plaza Terrace Room.

Public transport

Trains
South Brisbane Railway Station adjacent to the Convention Centre on Grey Street or South Bank Railway Station are the most convenient stations to access the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Buses
The Cultural Centre Station on Melbourne Street and the South Bank Busway Stations Cnr of Colchester and Tribune Streets are the closest to Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
City Cat & Ferries
The public transport ferries, City Cats operate every day and stop at the South Bank River Terminal on the Clem Jones Promenade. The inner-city ferry travels between the CBD, North Quay and Kangaroo Point, stopping at the South Bank Terminal 1 and 2 on the Clem Jones Promenade
Taxis and ride share
The main taxi companies in Brisbane are Black and White Cabs (ph. 13 32 22), or Yellow Cabs (ph. 13 19 24). Taxi ranks and ride share pick up points are located outside the main entrance to the Centre on Merivale Street and at the Grey Street entrance.
Transport from Brisbane Airport
Brisbane domestic and international airports are a 30min drive from the Centre. The AirTrain connects South Brisbane station to Brisbane’s international and domestic airports with stops in the Brisbane CBD and Fortitude Valley. Tickets and a timetable for this service can be found at the BCEC Information Desk or you can pre-book on the AirTrain website.
