About the Recognition of Rural and Remote Service Scheme
The Recognition of Rural and Remote Service (RoRRS) Scheme recognises the important role that teachers in our rural and remote communities have and provides additional financial benefits and incentives for teachers, and their families, in these communities.
RoRRS provides teachers that are relocating to a TR 4–7 school, with access to a wide range of targeted incentives and benefits, including relocation support, housing and travel benefits, locality allowances and recognition of service incentives. Additional incentives are also available for teachers who are relocating with their partner and/or children.
