Industrial Technology and Design curriculum
Industrial Technology and Design (ITD) is a high demand secondary curriculum area, delivered across junior secondary and senior secondary subjects in Queensland state schools.
Commonly, these subjects incorporate theoretical knowledge with practical application and are taught in specific learning environments. Depending on the school, the applied ITD subjects offered may include core trade areas like
Furnishing,
Building and Construction,
Industrial Graphics,
Industrial Technology,
Engineering Skills and Materials and Technologies specialisations.
Note: This internship program doesn’t include subject areas in fields such as fashion, hospitality, and information and communication technology (ICT).
