Scott had several different careers before becoming a teacher in Queensland's Lockyer District State High School. As a coach motor body builder by trade, Scott is passing on his trade skills from real world experiences onto the students in his classroom.

"Passing on my knowledge to those kids I think is the biggest thing because we’ve all started somewhere and they’ve gotta be given the opportunity."
