After submitting your application via the Teacher Application Portal we may request that you provide confirmation of your identity. If required, our Teacher Recruitment team will contact you individually if we need specific identity documents.

Some applicants are currently experiencing issues when attempting to submit identity documents using Google Chrome. If you experience any issues, please check that Google Chrome has updated to version 81, otherwise try submitting using another browser. Please also ensure your attached documents are in the applicable format and size range.

The Department of Education is collecting your personal information, including certified documentary evidence, in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) for the purpose of receiving and assessing your application to teach in Queensland state schools. This information will only be accessed by authorised department staff. Your information will not be disclosed to any other person without your consent, or where required by law.

Note: Documentary evidence to confirm your identity should be uploaded here. Supporting documentation may include: identification documents (i.e. birth certificate or passport and if applicable working visa, marriage or change of name certificate). Driver's licence will not be accepted. Only files in the following format will be accepted PDF, DOC, DOCX, GIF, JPG and PNG. A maximum of 10 supporting documents may be attached.
