Our new Teach Queensland Live Chat series provides preservice, applicant and experienced teachers with information about the diverse range of teaching opportunities in Queensland state schools.

Webinars take place from 6 pm to 7.30 pm AEST on the following dates:

Find out how you can improve your employment prospects in Queensland state schools and fast-track your teaching career. State school principals will share information about what they are looking for when recruiting new teachers and provide tips on how you can stand out from the other applicants. Tuesday 28 November 2017: Been there, done that - Early career teachers share their experiences

Some of our early career teachers will share their teaching journey from preservice to beginning teacher. They will talk about the opportunities they have had, challenges they have faced and the things they learned in the process.

Teach Queensland events

Our calendar of events includes university visits, career events and information sessions for aspiring and preservice teachers to learn more about teaching in Queensland state schools.

We host two career fairs each year - the Teach Rural Career Fair and Teach Queensland Career Fair - where you can talk face-to-face with our recruiters about your teaching career.

Our Teach Queensland Ambassadors are a dedicated group of principals, heads of department, teachers, and human resources consultants from across Queensland, and represent the state schooling sector at a range of career and employment events, including information sessions at Higher Education Institutions.

They are passionate about sharing their extensive knowledge about the teacher application process, high priority curriculum areas/locations, support for beginning teachers, and stories from their real life teaching experiences.
